The federal government is proposing a temporary increase to the GST Credit, a one time top up to help support some renters, and is taking steps toward supporting dental care services for Canadians (starting with children under 12 years old).
These measures will need to move their way through Parliament and receive royal assent, but it’s hoped that they will begin later this year.
