Some of you may know my coworker Vern. He tends to sleep through meetings and isn’t great at math, but he keeps the workplace much more pleasant and is always happy to welcome new clients. Vern became ill a few days ago and was rushed to an emergency hospital on Sunday (just a couple of days after our kitty pal Darcy did the same thing). He’s improving, but will likely need to be there for a few more days. If I sleep through any meetings, please know that (a) I’m very tired and (b) I’m just trying to fill in for Vern.
