I’m very pleased to announce that I have completed all the necessary steps, including a knowledge test, to become an Apprentice level bookkeeper with the Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada. These designations and certifications are not required of bookkeepers in Canada, but it helps me to hone and maintain my professional skill-set, plus it helps clients know that they are hiring someone who has the needed understanding of bookkeeping concepts, awareness of current information relevant to bookkeepers, and a commitment to the field.
